A Bit of History
One Night Stand began over 20 years ago when a group of friends, including Donna and Don, came together to support a local fundraiser. Since they planned to play just one night a year for a good cause, the name One Night Stand felt like the perfect fit.
Over time, band members changed, and what started as an annual tradition grew into something more. Realizing they had something special, the group decided to perform beyond their yearly event while still honoring their roots. Though the lineup evolved, and their schedule expanded, they kept the One Night Stand name as a tribute to their beginnings—coming together for a good cause.
Today, the band is often referred to as ONS, and you’ll see ONS Dance Band on much of their promotional material. While they now play a wide range of events, they continue to give back by performing at fundraisers and lending their energy to special, personal celebrations like weddings, stags, and birthdays. The tradition lives on, and the band looks forward to creating more unforgettable moments in the years to come!
